Alicia Mordenti lives and works in Washington Depot, CT. She was trained as a ceramic artist. Her early work focused on functional pottery embellished with figurative drawing.
Currently, Alicia’s passion for art making has led her to oil and acrylic painting. Her paintings feature the natural world; flowers, birds, and the animals in her life. She is fascinated with the transient nature of light, the subtleties of shadow, and the effect of atmosphere on color.
Corey Tucker works in a gorgeous natural light studio at the historic Ovation guitar factory in New Hartford, CT alongside other artists in the building. A lover of all things wild, she adores creating and styling elaborate settings from her findings in nature and vintage treasures. Collaboration with creative professionals is her middle name, and she unabashedly photographs with her intuitive nature and love of her natural environment with a tangible aesthetic.
Meet the artists at our opening reception on Saturday, August 27 from 4 - 6pm. Free & Open to the Public.
