With a foundation in film and darkroom photography, Kate Uhry now uses the digital process creating crisp, simple shots. Kate is inspired by many subjects, but especially people and their pets, garden flowers, landscapes and water scenes. Her work has been seen in The New York Times, Vogue, Salon, Passport Magazine, The Knot, Martha Stewart Weddings, among others. Her commercial clients include West Elm, Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn, Blisstree, Orvis, PBS Food. Kate resides in Bethlehem CT.
Painter Lori Racicot-Burrous is deeply inspired by the impressionists, post-impressionists, and abstract expressionists. Employing brushes, knives, fingers, spray bottles, cloth and found objects, Lori paints boldly and spontaneously, utilizing various techniques and strong color. Lori has shown throughout Connecticut. This exhibit will include a variety of works including landscapes, farmscapes and farm animals. Lori lives in West Simsbury CT.
